Accessing the Collection
The Historic Costume Collection consists of books from Carnegie Mellon University Libraries Special Collections.
Books in the Historic Costume Collection are in the public domain. No additional permission is required for their use.
Digitization of these volumes was made possible through a generous endowment of Carnegie Mellon drama alumna, Carol Chaplin, in honor of her mother Margaret Smith Cushing, a 1927 graduate of the Margaret Morrison Carnegie College costume economics program.
