Executive Committee Minutes

The Executive Committee/Board of Trustees Minutes collection includes minutes of Executive Committee meetings and supplementary documents and reports. The minutes are rich in information about strategic decisions made by the university and board. They also include information on initiatives that never came to fruition.

Early minutes include valuable information on the founding of Carnegie Technical Schools and the construction of campus. Supplemental reports from that period include detailed purchase lists, correspondence, and other financial reports.

Later years include information on strategic initiatives, land acquisitions, faculty appointments, and financial reports – among other information.

The majority of minutes are arranged by academic fiscal year (July – June) and include an index at the end of the document.
