About the Posner Memorial Collection
Henry Posner Sr. and his wife Ida M. Posner were avid collectors of books and art through much of their lives. In 1978, their son Henry Posner Jr. and his wife Helen established the Posner Memorial Collection at Carnegie Mellon University.
During their lifetimes, Mr. and Mrs. Posner Sr. traveled widely and acquired rare books and objets-d’art, which are now housed in the Posner Center on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.
Nearly all of the books in Posner Memorial Collection are available in fulltext online, and a database of the Art Collection is also available.
